[Bug] Login timeout after background app update with stale process state

Question

**Bug Description**
When claude code asks to login again after the claude code app has been updated in the background while the app is open, login fails consistently with  timeout on the claude code app, and the browser stays with the authorize page grayed out as if it were processing. Exiting the claude code app, and re starting it makes login to work again. The app shold check in some way it was updated and provide a clear error message instead of just timing out.
