The in-app browser view (introduced in the Week 28 update) opened over my active session after a link click and could not be dismissed: closing it via X or Ctrl+W caused it to reopen immediately, including after app restart. Ctrl+Shift+B did not restore the previous view.

Workaround: Alt+Left navigated back to the workspace. However, all connected API/MCP connections of the running session were dropped in the process and had to be re-established.

Expected: The browser view should close cleanly without persisting as the restored state, and switching views must never terminate active session connections.

Environment: Claude Desktop on Windows, version 2.1.202-2.1.206 range, active Claude Code session with connected APIs at the time.
