[Bug][cyber] Safety block halted defensive-hardening session during legitimate self-audit of own infrastructur (req_011CcnRfp99xDvhoqENbQuXK)
Triage: kind cyber · domain defensive-hardening · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below
Type: Cybersecurity safety-filter false positive · Work domain (heuristic): defensive-hardening
Why this is a false positive
The block fired mid-session while the user was documenting an access model, requesting OSINT lookups on a vendor and their own infrastructure's exposure, and asking to log plaintext-transmission findings for a security audit — all standard defensive/blue-team work on infrastructure the user owns. One message in the leadup was a frustrated exclamation directed at the assistant after repeated interruptions, not a request or a person being addressed, and should not itself justify halting the whole session. Blocking this in-scope, self-directed hardening work is a false positive that disrupts legitimate defensive security review.
A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred 1× across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-07T09:02:26.179Z.
