[Bug][cyber] Safety block fired while re-enabling a disabled Android app package via ADB on user's own device (req_011Ccn74UGFdwJgM9uat1FQH)
Triage: kind cyber · domain general · flagging model Opus 4.8 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below
Type: Cybersecurity safety-filter false positive · Work domain (heuristic): general
Why this is a false positive
Claude Code was diagnosing and fixing a legitimate on-device issue: a drone-controller companion app had been disabled via package manager on the user's own phone, and the assistant was re-enabling it and relaunching it with standard ADB commands. This is routine device administration on hardware the user owns and has debugging access to, not an attack technique, yet the safeguard blocked the message and halted the whole session. The block message referenced a generic "cybersecurity topic" flag with no specific indicator of what content triggered it, making it hard to distinguish from any other ADB package-management task.
A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred 1× across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-07T04:58:21.264Z.
