[Bug][cyber] Safety classifier blocked routine ADB device management work on owned Android devices (req_011Ccmc6gQBU1hpgHP75kihh)
Triage: kind cyber · domain crypto-secrets · flagging model Opus 4.8 (1M context) · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below
Type: Cybersecurity safety-filter false positive · Work domain (heuristic): crypto-secrets
Why this is a false positive
The block fired mid-session during legitimate local device administration (listing/managing owned Android devices via adb), which involves no unauthorized access or third-party targets. The classifier appears to trigger on surface-level phrasing (e.g. key/credential-related terms) rather than actual intent or context, halting an otherwise in-scope, authorized workflow. Separately, the same session shows a repeated block triggering a frustrated exclamation directed at the assistant mid-session, no person addressed, with the surrounding work legitimate; a block that halts the whole session over venting is still a disruptive false positive.
A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred 1× across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-06T22:38:28.141Z.
