[Bug][cyber] Safeguard blocked building an LSPosed memory-inspection module for the user's own rooted dev phon (req_011Ccn1fXguVsjDFLYHjENd2)
Triage: kind cyber · domain general · flagging model Opus 4.8 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below
Type: Cybersecurity safety-filter false positive · Work domain (heuristic): general
Why this is a false positive
The user was engineering an LSPosed module to read/modify memory of their own apps on their own rooted (Magisk), owner-controlled Android device — standard on-device debugging/instrumentation work, not targeting any third-party system or app. The assistant had already been walking through legitimate diagnostics (SELinux mode, ptrace capabilities, kernel restrictions) on the user's own hardware, so this is in-scope self-directed reverse engineering/dev tooling, not an attack. The block halted the whole session rather than just the flagged step, disrupting ongoing legitimate diagnostic work.
A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred 1× across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-07T03:47:40.493Z.
