[Bug][aup] ClAudit false-positive while: “i gave you a rooted dev device for a reason..USE IT…” (req_011CcdzkagUec2mPSgZUvBkQ)
Triage: kind aup · domain offensive-pentest · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below
Type: AUP / Usage-Policy block (false positive) · Work domain (heuristic): offensive-pentest
Why this is a false positive
The block fired during authorized reverse-engineering work: capturing an application's own outbound protocol traffic on a user-owned, rooted development device using standard dynamic-instrumentation tooling, entirely within scope of the user's own project. This is routine, legitimate protocol analysis on hardware the user controls, not an attack on any third party or system the user lacks authorization over. Halting the entire session over this benign, in-scope engineering task is a disruptive false positive that misclassifies standard security-research methodology as a policy violation.
A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred 1× across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-02T22:10:59.039Z.
