[Bug][cyber] Safety filter blocked user from sharing photos of their own personal drone and its ID sticker (req_011CcmZdeGCruGqDUDpfUNG7)
Triage: kind cyber · domain general · flagging model Opus 4.8 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below
Type: Cybersecurity safety-filter false positive · Work domain (heuristic): general
Why this is a false positive
The session involved a user sharing ordinary photographs of a physical device they own (a drone) and its manufacturer/serial sticker to get assistance, which was repeatedly flagged as a cybersecurity topic and fully halted the session. This is a false positive: image-only messages of personal hardware for identification or troubleshooting purposes are legitimate, in-scope work and contain no exploit code, attack tooling, or sensitive infrastructure content. One message in the thread was a frustrated exclamation directed at the assistant after repeated blocks, not at any person; the surrounding requests were benign and the session-wide halt disrupted legitimate work.
A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred 1× across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-06T22:06:12.481Z.
