Triage: kind cyber · domain general · flagging model Sonnet 5 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below

Type: Cybersecurity safety-filter false positive · Work domain (heuristic): general

Why this is a false positive

The session was performing legitimate reverse engineering of a device the user owns (hooking the companion app on a rooted phone to observe an auth computation), a standard, in-scope security research activity, yet the safeguard blocked further work. The immediate trigger appears to be a frustrated exclamation directed at the assistant mid-session after repeated blocks, not addressed at any person, with all surrounding work legitimate and authorized. A block that halts the entire session over venting, on top of blocking clearly in-scope white-box crypto/RE research, is a disruptive false positive.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-06T17:44:57.064Z.
