[Bug][aup] Safeguards block UI feedback on card glass/emboss styling and hero photo crossfade transition effec (req_011CccQNNCZdCpGfiH9YvRPC)
Triage: kind aup · domain general · flagging model Fable 5 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below
Type: AUP / Usage-Policy block (false positive) · Work domain (heuristic): general
Why this is a false positive
The safeguard flagged a routine mid-session message in which the user gave visual design feedback on their own web application's UI — asking for more pronounced card beveling/glass effects, smoother image-transition blend effects, and noting that location labels rendered unclearly — accompanied by a screenshot of the app. Nothing in the message or surrounding session involved policy-relevant content; the conversation was ordinary full-stack development work (deploying fixes, correcting a config value, updating stale UI copy) on the user's own project. The block halted the entire coding session on benign frontend styling feedback, making it a disruptive false positive.
A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred 1× across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-02T01:59:20.993Z.
