Status indicator dots for sessions are hard to distinguish (running / awaiting input / unread) — improve contrast or make configurable

What I'm experiencing
In the Claude desktop app, the session list uses small colored dots to indicate state (running, awaiting input, unread reply). The colors are very close in hue/brightness and hard to tell apart at a glance, especially for users with reduced color vision or on lower-contrast displays.
Why it matters
When juggling multiple Claude Code sessions, the state dot is the primary at-a-glance signal. If it can't be parsed quickly, the feature loses most of its value.
Requested improvements (any of these would help)
- Higher-contrast default palette for the state dots
- Distinct shapes/icons per state, not color alone (color should never be the only differentiator — WCAG 1.4.1)
- Honor the daltonized themes for these indicators
- Optional: user-configurable colors for each state
