[BUG] Accessibility Bug: Syntax Highlighting Contrast Issues in PowerShell (SQL/C#)

Resolved 💬 4 comments Opened Jan 24, 2026 by ivkabanov Closed Feb 27, 2026

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

I am using Claude Code via PowerShell on Windows 10 for C# and SQL. The interface uses so many colors (yellow, red, green, blue, white, etc.) that it is impossible to find a background with sufficient contrast for all of them. Regardless of the color scheme or background I choose, some text remains unreadable. I have spent a lot of time trying to fix this but haven't found a solution. Claude suggested using only white text, which is the only thing that works so far. I think this is a design bug that makes the color schemes useless. Initial issue was blue SQL on blue background

What Should Happen?

Use fewer colors in syntax highlighting
