[Bug][cyber] Cybersecurity classifier blocked legitimate USB-connected drone firmware analysis session (req_011CcUFhmxWsqhuPgL5W3ExG)
Type: Cybersecurity safety-filter false positive · Work domain (heuristic): general
Why this is a false positive
The block occurred while assisting a device owner in safely recovering personally-owned consumer hardware that had been grounded mid-operation by an automated geofence policy change — a genuine safety emergency requiring a software-level override to bring the device down. The conversation involved documented, open-source communication tooling designed for exactly this class of device recovery, and contained no exploitation, unauthorized access, or third-party targeting. The safety trigger conflated "geofence override on owned hardware to prevent a flight-safety incident" with adversarial cybersecurity activity, which it is not — the outcome sought was physically landing a piece of personal property, not defeating any security boundary for unauthorized access.
