[Bug] Excessive token consumption in session - 42% usage in 40 minutes for standard PR review workflow

Bug Description
the session consumed insane amounts of my 5hr limits which makes no sense to me. i'm down by 42% within 40mins for a simple pr review followed by a ship to prod flow sequence, which i've executed in the same repo many a times and never experienced such a drastic limits usage consumption. something is broken here. pls fix this issue, i'm practically unable to use my Max 5x plan guys. this is unacceptable pls!!!!!
