[BUG] Limit doesn't works

What's Wrong?

Date: June 19, 2026
Tool: Claude Code CLI via claude.ai account (NOT API)

ISSUE 1 — SPEND LIMIT NOT ENFORCED:
Configured monthly spend limit: R$10.00
Actual charge: R$31.45 (315% of configured limit)
The spend limit was not enforced. Screenshots attached.

ISSUE 2 — SUPPORT BOT CONTRADICTION:
In one message, the bot stated:
"A human agent with appropriate authority will be able to
investigate the spending limit enforcement issue."

In the next message, the same bot stated:
"I'm an AI assistant and cannot escalate cases or assign
tickets to human agents."

_There is no path to human support. The bot gates all
resolution behind a "human review" it admits it cannot
actually trigger._

REQUESTING:

  1. Actual human review of spend limit enforcement failure
  2. Partial refund of R$21.45 (unauthorized overage)
  3. Fix or clarification of spend limit enforcement behavior

for Claude Code CLI sessions on claude.ai

Screenshots of: configured limit, overage charge, and
contradictory bot messages available on request.

This is a duplicate of #27154 (opened February 2026,
closed as "not planned" without fix or acknowledgment).

The same bug is still occurring 4 months later:

  • Same tool: Claude Code CLI + Opus
  • Same limit: R$10.00
  • Similar overage: R$31.45 (315%)

Closing #27154 as "not planned" while the bug continues
affecting paying users is not acceptable.

What Should Happen?

What I expect? That an enforced limit act as is. Just it.
