[BUG] claude code github commit sign UX

What's Wrong?

i have commit signs enabled on github and it takes me to an interactive UI to enter a password. claude code's UI breaks whenever it tries to commit on my behalf. is there a way to make the UX better here?

What Should Happen?

claude prompt me to enter the password to sign commits

• enable gpg commit signs on github from "Developer Settings"
• ask claude to commit files
