[BUG] Sidebar toggle button overlaps with window close (X) button on Windows 11

  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

On Windows 11, the sidebar toggle button in the top-left corner overlaps with the window close (X) button, making it impossible to click either button reliably. This occurs in both maximized and restored window states.

Resizing the window, keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+B, Ctrl+Shift+L, Ctrl+Shift+B), and double-clicking the title bar do not resolve the issue. The sidebar cannot be opened at all.

What Should Happen?

The sidebar toggle button and the window close button should not overlap. Both should be independently clickable, allowing users to open the sidebar without accidentally closing the window.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Claude Code desktop app on Windows 11
  2. Maximize the window or use any window size
  3. Try to click the sidebar toggle icon in the top-left corner
  4. The click either closes the window or does nothing — the two buttons are stacked on top of each other

Additional Information

Windows 11 Home (Build 10.0.26200). The sidebar toggle button in the top-left corner is completely hidden behind the window close (X) button. No keyboard shortcut or window resize resolves the overlap.
