What's Wrong?

When you write a prompt with one or more images attached and submit it, pressing Escape a few seconds into execution cancels the request and correctly restores the prompt text in the input bar — but the attached images are silently dropped and do not reappear.

What Should Happen?

When Escape cancels an in-progress request and restores the prompt, any images that were attached to that prompt should also be restored alongside the text.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the Claude Code desktop app
  2. Write a prompt and attach one or more images
  3. Submit the prompt
  4. Press Escape a few seconds after execution starts
  5. Observe: the prompt text is restored in the input bar, but the attached images are gone
