Working indicator persists after pressing Escape

Bug

When pressing Esc to cancel/interrupt, the working/loading indicator remains visible instead of being cleared.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Start a prompt that triggers the working indicator
  2. Press Esc to cancel
  3. The working indicator stays on screen

Expected behavior

The working indicator should be cleared immediately when Esc is pressed.

Environment

  • Claude Code CLI
  • macOS
