[BUG] Windows IME not working after switching focus back to Claude Code

What's Wrong?
When clicking outside Claude Code and then clicking back into
the chat input, the IME indicator shows Japanese (あ) but only English can be typed. The 半角/全角 key does not respond inside the app.
What Should Happen?
Japanese input should work immediately after refocusing the chat input without needing to switch to another app first.

Steps to Reproduce
- Open Claude Code desktop app
- Make sure IME is set to Japanese (あ) in taskbar
- Click on another window (e.g. browser or any other app)
- Click back into Claude Code chat input
- Try to type in Japanese
- Only English characters appear despite IME showing Japanese (あ)
- Pressing 半角/全角 key has no effect
