Claude Code freezes with white window when switching focus

Description

Claude Code occasionally freezes and displays a white/blank window. This seems to happen when switching between Claude Code and another application (e.g., a browser with Claude.ai light chat open), then switching back to Claude Code.

Steps to reproduce

1. Have Claude Code running in a terminal session (active conversation)
2. Switch to another application (browser with Claude.ai, or similar)
3. Switch back to Claude Code
4. Claude Code window is frozen / white / unresponsive

Expected behaviour

Claude Code should remain responsive when regaining focus.

Environment

• OS: Windows 11 Pro 10.0.26200
• Shell: Git Bash / Windows Terminal

Notes

• Does not happen every time - intermittent
• The freeze seems related to focus switching, not to any specific command or operation
• Requires killing and restarting the session to recover
