[BUG] Chat Not Retaining the fedora Linux

What's Wrong?

when I m using claude code in the terminal cli , if the terminal is closed unexpected the chat is gone completely

What Should Happen?

chat wont be saved

Steps to Reproduce

start a new chat
send message
close the terminal or turn off the PC
without doing /exit or ctr+c
chat wont be present
on fedoro linux workstation

can be recreated by starting a chat closing the terminal without using /exit or ctr+c
this issue wasnt on the windows but on linux its there
