[Bug] Terminal text display corrupts to "..." when typing long input in multiple choice prompts

Resolved 💬 2 comments Opened Jun 10, 2026 by daobinhgiang Closed Jun 13, 2026

Bug Description
When answering a question by inputting text at the final optino instead of choosing any of the multiple choice option, after inputting text for a little bit, everything became "..." rather than wrapping in the terminal. Not sure what it is for other user, but I usually split terminal within vscode to manage multiple Claude Code instance at the same time

Another thing: I really like being able to move up and down lines using arrow buttons. We used to be able to do that, but now in Claude Code CLI, we can only move like that between lines that are a new line in between them, otherwise it will just move to the previous/following prompts sent to CC
