[BUG] trouble connecting with my remote claude.ai account

What's Wrong?

When I try to run /schedule skill consistently fails with "trouble connecting with your remote claude.ai account" - started happening today at about 2:30pm ET

What Should Happen?

Should run /schedule successfully to run routines when my machine is asleep

Error Messages/Logs

Steps to Reproduce

Open Claude Code (CLI or desktop app)
In any conversation, type /schedule
Observe the response
Expected: The skill connects to your claude.ai account and prompts you to set up a scheduled task.

Actual: The skill immediately returns: "We're having trouble connecting with your remote claude.ai account to set up a scheduled task. Please try /schedule again in a few minutes."

Notes:

The error occurs consistently across multiple retries over 15+ minutes
Tried from the Claude Code desktop app on macOS 25.4.0
Confirmed logged into claude.ai in the browser
