What's Wrong?

Messages sent from the mobile app are not being received by the PC-side terminal when using Remote Control. The mobile app showMessages sent from the mobile app should appear in the PC terminal and receive a response from Claude Code.s the * spinner indefinitely with no response.

What Should Happen?

Messages sent from the mobile app should appear in the PC terminal and receive a response from Claude Code.

Error Messages/Logs

None. No error messages appear on either PC or mobile.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start Claude Code on PC: claude
  2. Run /remote-control in the terminal
  3. PC shows "Remote Control active"
  4. Open the session in the Claude mobile app
  5. Send any message from the mobile app
  6. Message appears sent on mobile but * spinner never resolves
  7. Nothing appears in the PC terminal

Additional Information

  • PC is connected via Wi-Fi, mobile tested on both 4G and Wi-Fi — same result
  • PC → mobile works fine (messages typed on PC terminal are reflected in the mobile app)
  • Mobile → PC direction only is broken
  • Issue persists after restarting Claude Code, updating both PC and mobile app, and full PC restart
  • Tested on both iPhone and iPad — same result
