[BUG] BAD UX: after typing a lot and accidentally using up arrow, input box CONTENT IS NOT SAVED!

2. use UP arrow and observe previous content
3. use DOWN arrow and observe all input efforts gone

Expected Behavior

to come back to previous input

input erased
