What's Wrong?

When I try to switch the Claude model in the VSCode extension via "Switch model", a "Loading models..." message appears but nothing else happens. The model list doesn't load.

What Should Happen?

There should be a list of models and the ability to change the model.

I am on 2.1.170 and unfortunately I still see this issue. Definitely do not want to exhaust my credits by working on expensive model due to this. Thanks for looking into it.

Weirdly enough, Anthropic has tried to hide this in a keystroke: Start typing / in chat and you will see the option of Switch Model (mine was default to Opus 4.8).

Tested on Claude-Code v2.1.207.
