Provide documentation on how to interface to editors / IDEs

I understand that claude code can be used together with VSC / JetBrains.

However, I do not use these, and I would like instead to interface ClaudeCode with the helix editor https://github.com/helix-editor/helix , likely through a plugin. Unfortunately, I cannot find documentation that describes in details what / how the interfacing works.

I.e., I would need a detailed documentation of all the functionalities and APIs and methods used to couple ClaudeCode to VSC / JetBrain, so I can couple it to another editor of my choice. Is this available, and if not, can this be made available?
