Loading animation messages (Booping, Grooving, Zigzagging) are distracting/unprofessional

Description

While Claude Code is processing (waiting for tool results), the CLI displays rotating loading messages such as:

  • "Booping…"
  • "Grooving…"
  • "Zigzagging…"

These messages appear in the status line at the bottom of the terminal during tool execution.

Problem

The playful/quirky vocabulary is distracting and feels unprofessional for a developer tool used in serious work contexts. Users expect neutral, technical feedback like "Working…", "Loading…", or "Thinking…" — not whimsical verbs that have no relation to the actual operation being performed.

Request

Please either:

  1. Replace the rotating messages with neutral alternatives ("Working…", "Processing…", "Thinking…"), or
  2. Make the loading message configurable in settings so users can opt out of the playful style.

Environment

  • Platform: Linux (Arch/CachyOS)
  • Shell: Fish
