What's Wrong?

A compactação automática de conversas (auto-compaction) parou de funcionar hoje (30/05/2026). Anteriormente, quando a conversa se aproximava do limite de tokens, ela era compactada automaticamente. Agora isso não acontece mais, fazendo com que o limite seja atingido rapidamente e eu precise iniciar um novo chat constantemente.

What Should Happen?

As conversas devem ser compactadas automaticamente quando se aproximam do limite de contexto, permitindo continuar a mesma conversa sem precisar iniciar um novo chat.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Abrir o Claude Code Desktop App
2. Iniciar uma conversa longa até se aproximar do limite de contexto
3. O app não realiza a compactação automática e exibe o erro:

"API Error: Usage credits required for 1M context - turn on usage credits
at claude.ai/settings/usage, or use --model to switch to standard context"

1. A conversa trava e é necessário iniciar um novo chat
