[BUG] Pro account suspended 10+ days, no specific reason, official tools only, active subscription ignored
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
My Claude Pro account has been suspended for over 10 days with no specific explanation. I received only a generic "violation of usage policy" email — no specific clause cited, no conversation identified, no evidence provided. Without knowing what was allegedly violated, it is impossible to contest or correct anything.
What Should Happen?
A paying Pro subscriber should not be suspended without a clear, specific reason and supporting evidence. If a suspension occurs, the user should be informed of exactly which policy was violated, with the relevant conversation or action identified.
Error Messages/Logs
Email from Anthropic: "Your account has been suspended due to a violation of our usage policy." No further details provided.
Steps to Reproduce
- Use Claude.ai official web app normally
- Use Claude Code in IDE (official Anthropic product)
- No third-party tools, no API misuse, no account sharing
- Account gets suspended with no prior warning
- Appeal submitted May 22nd via official form
- Status shows "Your case is next to be examined" since day one (static message)
- Decision estimated June 1st — active Pro subscription inaccessible meanwhile

Additional Information
This issue is not isolated. Related existing issues: #57217 and others document the same pattern — automated enforcement without human review, no specific justification, and active paid subscriptions completely ignored during suspension. A pro-rata refund or credit for the inaccessible days has also not been addressed.
