Claude should be able to change directories and persist

In Windows 11, you can start a terminal in a specific directory. You can then start Claude. Once you do that, Claude remembers the directory. You can try to cd ../newdirectory but Claude will always come back to the original directory. I believe Claude should remember the new directory and allow you to work there. This would preserve all the chat information from where you originally started, since starting a new terminal loses that information (per Claude). Also, some of the things you feed back to Claude should help improve it and be able to persist to new sessions, at least by user if not for all.
