Problem Statement
Hi guys
For a much better "cowork" experience, the claude.ai M365 connector should interact with MS Planner. This would enable a personal kanban board and allow me to assign tasks easily to Claude that I get from other various sources in the MS ecosystem.
I need the integration to work from all interfaces: Claude.ai, Claude for Windows, and claude code (linux and windows). Tasks could be: research for upcoming work, creating presentations, code generation, PRs or other reviews that is pending me and where claude can make me more efficient.
Thanks for your consideration and please let me know if you need more detailed feedback on the use cases and workflows this can enable.
Cheers
Proposed Solution
The claude.ai M365 connector should be enhanced to also support MS Planner.
Alternative Solutions
Without custom Graph API code, there is no real solution today, and this is blocked in my org. via polices. However, the Anthropic connectors are on our whitelist.
Graph API is limited in many organizations - especially in regulated industries.
Today, I use temporary hack via some PowerAutomate flows, but this requires a premium license and I only have a 90 days trial license so in about 80 days it wont work for me.
Priority
High - Significant impact on productivity
Feature Category
MCP server integration
Use Case Example
I get a task from a Teams meeting, this shows up in MS planner. I would like to either assign it to Claude or create child (linked) tasks for claude. This could be modify a code base (slightly) via claude code, or conduct detailed research both online and within my org's data.
When certain conditions are true, claude could pick up the task, OR I would just ask claude to work on it. Claude would summarize its work and link to deliverables and tests, similar to having a PA or a developer flow.
