feature request: Status bar indicator showing current model in use

Currently, when usage limits are reached and Claude
switches from Opus to Sonnet (or other models), the
notification quickly disappears into chat history. It
would be helpful to have a persistent indicator (perhaps
in the status bar, prompt, or as a command) showing
which model is currently active.
Why This Feature Would Be Valuable

Your suggestion is really good because:
- Transparency: Users should know which model they're
interacting with
- Expectation Management: Different models have
different capabilities
- Usage Planning: Helps users manage their limits more
effectively
- Debugging: Model-specific behaviors could be relevant
for troubleshooting

Suggested implementations:
- Status bar indicator showing current model
- Modified prompt showing model (e.g., claude-opus-3> vs
claude-sonnet-3.5>)
- A command like /model or /status to check current
model
