API Timeout Charges Incorrectly Deducting Token Quota

Bug Description
Paying for Claude Opus Max plan but being unfairly charged for API timeouts. I’m currently on the Claude Opus Max plan ($100/month), but I keep hitting an issue that makes no sense.

I get frequent API Error: Timeout responses, which means I never actually get a usable answer from Claude. However, the system still deducts tokens/usage from my quota as if the requests were successful.

This is extremely frustrating — I am literally paying $100/month for a premium plan, yet instead of receiving the high-quality responses I subscribed for, I am losing my quota to failed calls that are completely out of my control.

This should not count against usage. If the response is a timeout or an internal error, I should not be charged at all. Otherwise, I am being penalized for errors on your side, not mine.

Please fix this or provide a proper crediting/refund mechanism for failed API calls. Right now, it feels like I’m paying for nothing when errors occur.
