Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing requests and this feature hasn't been requested yet
  • [x] This is a single feature request (not multiple features)

Problem Statement

The "How's Claude doing?" prompt is annoying. It happens at all the wrong times when I am in the middle of a project and when you dismiss it, or answer it, Claude inevitably interprets this as an input. It isn't suppose to, but that is how the timing of the prompt and the response seems to happen more often than not.

Please provide a means in the CLI version to suppress this prompt.

Proposed Solution

Incorporate a /prompt OFF (or something like that) command in Claude CLI to allow the suppression of the "How's Claude doing?" prompts during a work session.

Alternative Solutions

Turn them off completely in the CLI, and have another means to get feedback. Or assume if we keep paying then it is doing a "good" job.

Priority

Medium - Would be very helpful
