[BUG] Persistent ECONNRESET error on Mac for 2 weeks - UNABLE TO USE CLAUDE FOR ANYTHING FOR ANY SESSION

What's Wrong?
Hi, I'm reporting a persistent connection issue with Claude Desktop on Mac.
Issue: ECONNRESET error preventing all use of Claude Desktop
Details:
Operating System: macOS
Desktop App Version: Latest version (as of May 19, 2026)
Error Code: ECONNRESET
Duration: 2 weeks
What's happening:
Claude Desktop has been completely unusable for 2 weeks with continuous ECONNRESET errors. The same account works fine on other devices.
What we've tried:
Restarting the app and computer multiple times
Confirming internet connection works normally
Not using a VPN
Running as administrator
No security software is being used
No firewall changes have been made
The issue is device-specific - other devices can use Claude Desktop without problems using the same account.
What Should Happen?
Claude Desktop should be operational. It's not operational at all.

Literally trying to do anything with Claude Desktop prompts the error
