[BUG] Problem displaying the last launched chat inside the Project

What's Wrong?

I have Claude for Windows Version 1.7196.3 (ca0c62) installed. Everything was working нормально until the second-to-last update.

The problem looks like this:

When I create a new chat inside a Project, it opens and works normally. But if I switch to any previous chat — not only inside that project, but anywhere in the application — then when I return to the recently opened chat, it stops displaying properly.

I only see the “Claude star” and nothing else: no text, no files.

When I contacted built-in support, the following steps were suggested:

Alexey, please try the following steps to resolve the freezing issues in the Claude for Windows app:

Main solutions:

Clear the cache through the app menu
Open Help > Troubleshooting and select “Clear Cache and Restart”
Reset app data
If clearing the cache does not help, try “Reset App Data” in the same menu
Fully close the application
Use Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), find the Claude process, and end it. Then restart the application

Additional diagnostics:
Check Event Viewer for error logs: open Windows Logs → Application and see whether there are any entries related to Claude.

If the issue persists after these steps, you can report the bug through GitHub Issues, including the app version, a precise description of the error, and logs from Event Viewer.

BUT NONE OF THIS HELPED.

Are there any other possible solutions to this problem? Or did you decide to save money at my expense in such a sophisticated way? ;-)
