[BUG] Selecting "Chat about this" on AskUserQuestion is reported to Claude as "User declined to answer questions" and ends the interview

What's Wrong?

During planning mode, Claude Code sometimes goes into an "interview" mode to ask clarifying questions in between prompts. Any time I select "Chat About This" instead of picking a canned answer, Claude Code closes the thread and the log claims "User declined to answer questions"

What Should Happen?

Claude Code should then pause and allow dialogue about the question
