What's Wrong?
Hi Benn,
Here's a complete bug report you can use for the GitHub Issues page:
Title: Scheduled Task "Us holiday outreach reminder" Firing Error Notifications Despite Not Appearing in UI
Description:
A scheduled task named "Us holiday outreach reminder" continues to fire error notifications in Claude Code Desktop, but the task does not appear in the Scheduled Tasks panel, making it impossible to delete manually.
Environment:
Desktop app version: [Your version - check Help > About]
Operating system: [Your OS and version]
Account email: [benn@exaveyra.com](mailto:benn@exaveyra.com)
Steps to Reproduce:
Open Claude Code Desktop
Navigate to Scheduled Tasks panel
Observe that panel shows "No scheduled tasks yet"
Error notifications continue to appear periodically
Expected Behavior:
The task should either appear in the Scheduled Tasks panel for manual deletion, or should not fire error notifications if it no longer exists.
Actual Behavior:
Error notification appears with Spanish message: "La tarea programada 'Us holiday outreach reminder' no pudo iniciarse. Puedes intentar ejecutarla manualmente."
The task appears to be stored in backend data but is not visible in the UI, creating a data inconsistency.
Additional Context:
Error notifications started approximately two weeks ago
[Attach your screenshots showing the empty Scheduled Tasks interface]
Logs: [Include relevant logs from Console.app (macOS) or Event Viewer → Windows Logs → Application (Windows)]
What Should Happen?
I should be able to find the origin of the notification and be able to delete it or disable it
Error Messages/Logs
US holiday outreach reminder not able
