Problem Statement

When Claude writes a long response with multiple points, I want to right-click on a specific sentence or paragraph and get an option like "Reply to this" or "Quote and respond" — so I can address that exact part without copying and pasting manually.

ChatGPT has a similar feature. It makes conversations much faster, especially when the response has several topics and I want to respond to only one of them.

This would be very useful for non-technical users who are using Claude for business (not coding).

Proposed Solution

Add a context menu (right-click) on any selected text in Claude's response with the following options:

"Reply to this" — opens the input box with the selected text quoted, ready to respond
"Ask about this" — same but with a prompt like "Explain more about: [selected text]"
Similar to how ChatGPT handles text selection with a floating action button, or how Gmail allows inline replies.

Implementation could be:

A floating mini-toolbar that appears when text is selected (like Google Docs)
Or a right-click context menu option
Works on both Claude.ai web and Claude Code desktop app
This would significantly improve usability for non-technical business users who have long conversations with multiple topics.
