Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing requests and this feature hasn't been requested yet
  • [x] This is a single feature request (not multiple features)

Problem Statement

Request:
Apple Calendar is the default calendar on Mac and is used by a large portion of Claude Code's user base. Currently, there is no vetted connector for it in the Cowork customize panel — only community MCP servers, which carry meaningful security risks for professional users.

Requested connector: Apple Calendar (macOS native, via EventKit or CalDAV)

Use case: Allow Claude to read and create calendar events directly through a trusted, Anthropic-vetted connector — the same way Google Calendar is supported.

Current workaround: Community MCP servers on GitHub (unvetted, security risk)

Why this matters: Google Calendar is supported, but many Mac users — especially in enterprise and professional settings — use Apple Calendar natively and do not want to route calendar access through a third-party connector.

Want me to adjust the tone or add anything before you submit it?
