[BUG] macOS: Claude Code gui app terminal sidebar freezes when pasting large amounts of text

What's Wrong?

Claude Code GUI app (Claude.app) freezes when pasting a large amount of information from the clipboard into the terminal side pane on macOS.

What Should Happen?

Paste information from clipboard -> goes into terminal just like the macOS native terminal without freezing.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Claude.app on macOS
2. Start an agent or task in Claude Code
3. Simultaneously open the right-hand terminal pane in the app
4. Copy a large amount of text from another source
5. Paste it into the terminal into an app like Pico or Nano
6. App freezes causing
7. Force close Claude.app
