[BUG] App freezes when pasting code**

What's Wrong?

Description:
For the past few weeks, every time I paste code into Claude Cowork, the app freezes completely. It stops responding, and if I try to click anywhere, Windows asks me to close the program. This makes it impossible to use Claude to help me fix bugs, add features, or make changes to my code.

What used to happen:
Pasting code worked fine before. Claude would read it and respond normally.

What happens now:
As soon as I paste code, the app stops thinking/responding and becomes unresponsive. The only way out is to force-close it.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Claude Cowork
2. Paste any block of code into the input
3. App freezes immediately and becomes unresponsive
4. Forced to close the program

What I've already tried:

• Uninstalled and reinstalled the app
• Updated to the latest version
• None of these resolved the issue

Expected behavior:
App should accept pasted code and Claude should process it normally without freezing.

Additional info:

• OS: [I use windows]
• This only happens on Claude Cowork
• Frequency: Happens every time code is pasted

What Should Happen?

Claude should read the code that I paste and make the change needed without freezing and closing the program
