What's Wrong?

Im using version 2.1.138 on MacOS 26.3.1 (a)
I recently installed Claude to start a new project. When I opened www.claude.ai for first time I accepted the Consumer Terms and Privacy Policy. But I refreshed Claude on terminal several times and the error still there.
I paid for a Pro account.

What Should Happen?

Claude should let me ask for any prompt.

This is what I needed to do :)

Same here. It would be helpful if this were converted to a FEATURE REQUEST to update the prompt to something actionable.

You just need to type /login in VSCODE chat to enable chatting and avoid the annoying privacy error
