What's Wrong?
I installed the claude code extension for VS studio but a message of ''command 'claude-vscode.editor.openLast' not found'' kept showing up. I already did all the troubleshoot Claude suggested, but the message still showing up.
- Reload VS Code: Press Ctrl+Shift+P (or Cmd+Shift+P on Mac), type "Developer: Reload Window", and press Enter.
- Reinstall the extension: Uninstall the Claude Code extension from VS Code and reinstall it from the VS Code Marketplace.
- Check your VS Code version: Make sure you're running a recent version of VS Code. Update it if needed.
- Clear the extension cache: Close VS Code, delete ~/.vscode/extensions/anthropic.claude-code- folder, then reinstall the extension.
What Should Happen?
Its supposed to apper at the left side tool bar the Claude icon, but instead, it shows up at the upper right corner in VS studio, and if its working, it should open up normaly and show you the files, new chat, etc
