What's Wrong?

Using Claude Team plan we have an internal plugin marketplace that contains all of our internal core plugins for our business (for Claude.AI, Cowork, Code, etc). This was set up in April of 2026, and updated numerous times in April.

Today we updated the marketplace again and went to the plugin admin (https://claude.ai/admin-settings/plugins) and clicked "Re-sync" to resync the available plugins.

This fails shortly after with "Failed to trigger sync."

The plugin has an error badge above it and when hovered over it we see this:

We have chatted with the "Fin AI Agent" support and verified that the GitHub Claude App has access to all our repos. We have validated that there are no connection issues. We have even removed the plugin and then attempted to add it again. Upon re-adding the plugin it fails again. We have even disconnected the GitHub connector and then re-connected it with no remedy to the situation. The issue persists.

The AI Agent support in the admin was no longer able to help and stated a bug report needed to be filed here.

What Should Happen?

When clicking "Re-sync" the plugins should sync.

@JonathanWThom thanks 🙏 that might be it, hopefully its fixed soon. The lack of support from Anthropic is concerning at this point.

Closing as this self resolved.

Timeline:

  • Chatted with FIN AI Agent, which did not help, it did not open a ticket (apparently it should have).
  • Spoke to Anthropic Rep, sent transcript of FIN AI chat to rep who forwarded info to Anthropic internal team
  • No response on this ticket, nor any response from the Anthropic team
  • Issue self resolved with no support response.

Closing as this is no longer an issue.
