Feature Description
Can you add a feature for claude code desktop to have a built in file explorer like an IDE and ALSO a built in markdown viewer and editor like obsidian. The markdown viewer must support adding screenshot images and automatically create an image file in the folder with the correct link in the markdown page.

Problem
Right now I have to split between three windows

  • obsidian to read and edit markdown with the preview and to create detailed instruction docs that require multiple screenshots as input (linking is easy in obsidian)
  • cursor to view non markdown files and use claude code in terminal (even though i prefer the claude desktop UI)
  • claude desktop for the great interface for claude code (all use cases with claude code which only involve markdown files like research and learning)
