Problem Statement

Iam trying to solve the problem about not knowing my tokens spent lifetime in the claude code cli.

It would be very good to have a lifetime time and tokens spent in the /stats feature in the claude code cli.

Right now you can only see your tokens spent in current session and not over all sessions. Also the time is a bit buggy/incorrect and i feel like it would be very good to have a time stat that shows the total time youve spent with claude code cli opened. (Lifetime over all sessions and not "wall time")

I feel like it would make people more intreseted in sticking with your subscriptions if you have a stat that you build up over time. And the active time spent is probably the best one to have to make people stick around for a couple extra months.

Proposed Solution

In Claude Code /stat you show total tokens spent in $ liefetime over all sessions and current active time in claude code CLI over all sessions.

Would be good to make people "farm" stats and stick with you instead of changing.
