[BUG] Claude Code input completely disabled with & Out of extra usage & error despite remaining usage limits

What's Wrong?

Claude Code input field is completely disabled and unusable, showing "Out of extra usage" error message despite having remaining usage on Max plan.

Current Usage:

• 5-hour limit: 22% used
• Weekly limit: 78% used
• Extra usage: Disabled in Settings > Usage

Problem:

• Input box in Claude Code is completely disabled - cannot type or send any commands
• Error persists even after disabling extra usage
• Issue is recurring - happens repeatedly when approaching usage limits
• Cannot run /doctor, /bug, or any other commands due to disabled input

Steps Attempted:

• Disabled extra usage in settings
• Cleared browser cache and cookies
• Tried desktop app
• Waited for usage resets
• Attempted to switch models (impossible due to disabled input)
• Uninstalled and reinstalled Claude Code

Impact:
Blocking all work in Claude Code - cannot continue client projects

Environment:

• Plan: Claude Max
• Desktop app version: latest version
• Operating system: Windows

What Should Happen?

Claude code should work until all usage ends
